A Very Happy Customer

We got an email from a customer from Oshawa. We installed a complete system in his home and the air conditioner had some manufacturing issues. Goodman stepped up and helped us get our customer cooled off.
SirThank You from a satisfied customer. The prompt emergency replacement of our old Pulse furnace near the end of a cold November, gave us a comfortable winter with the new Goodman furnace Lisa had recommended (along with a new Woods water heater). Ray suggested waiting until spring to install the new outside AC unit, which made sense.Unfortunately, when installed in the spring, the new Goodman compressor had serious noise issues. The unit was extremely noisy outdoors, and even more annoyingly, the distinct whining, compressor noise migrated thru the tubing indoors into the new coil in the air handler, and throughout the duct work in the house; very disturbing especially in the quiet evening hours. This was a real disappointment and I was worried. Ray assured us, that although the warranty process would take a bit if time, that he would make sure we were happy with the outcome. We were relieved and glad to have chosen a reputable, customer oriented company like your`s that wouldn’t walk away from our problem. Ray made sure that we had a properly working unit to make do with in the meantime, even if it was defectively noisy. Ray made arrangements with the manufacturer for a field visit. The Goodman field rep inspected the unit with Ray, and agreed to do a complete replacement when a new unit was ordered. Making do with the unit that got even noisier with the addition of a new rough start-up noise – definitely a lemon, we waited patiently a little worried that maybe we had picked the wrong make of unit. The good news, worth the wait! Ray`s crew did a great job yesterday with the warranty replacement. The difference with the new Goodman unit is like night and day, unbelievably quieter, smooth starting, none of the running whiny compressor noise the other had, and no annoying noise in the duct work. This weekend is in the mid 30 s and we are enjoying our quiet cool! Thanks Ray and all!Sincerely satisfiedOshawa
